Some Truth About Hobby Lobby

The Left is foaming at the mouth over the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision. I’m seeing the posts on Facebook from people who obviously have no idea what they are screaming about. With restraint I have not commented on these posts, although I consider them to be outright lies to stir up the phony War on Women again. Please tell me we are not stupid enough to elect another president based on social issues. Have we not learned anything?

In case anyone on the left would like to know the facts, here are a few they can chew on instead of their fingernails. This case was NEVER about contraception. It was NEVER about a War on Women. It was and is about religious freedom in our country. I have to wonder how these same people who are demanding that we put aside our beliefs in order to please them, would feel if the situation were reversed. I mean, really, are we demanding that they not use contraceptives? Are we forcing them to work at Hobby Lobby? Or are we merely saying that company owners should not be forced to pay for abortions when it goes against their personal beliefs.

Here is a list of contraceptive coverages that Hobby Lobby offers to a female employee:

She joins Hobby Lobby’s health care plan. It includes access, copay-free, to the following categories of FDA-approved birth-control:

  1. Male condoms
  2. Female condoms
  3. Diaphragms with spermicide
  4. Sponges with spermicide
  5. Cervical caps with spermicide
  6. Spermicide alone
  7. Birth-control pills with estrogen and progestin (“Combined Pill)
  8. Birth-control pills with progestin alone (“The Mini Pill)
  9. Birth control pills (extended/continuous use)
  10. Contraceptive patches
  11. Contraceptive rings
  12. Progestin injections
  13. Implantable rods
  14. Vasectomies
  15. Female sterilization surgeries
  16. Female sterilization implants

(This female employee at Hobby Lobby cannot use male condoms or a vasectomy, at least not directly. However, if she chose either contraceptive method, in conjunction with her husband, she would have access to it.)

Further, not only would she have access to these medicines and devices, but Hobby Lobby would fund them. That’s right: while White House press secretary Josh Earnest claims that it “jeopardizes the health of women,” Hobby Lobby’s health plan pays for 16 different kinds of contraceptives for its female employees!

In the Left’s fantasy world, the militant Christians at Hobby Lobby police single female employees to assure that they have not engaged in sinful, premarital sex. As for married women, Hobby Lobby deprives them of birth control so that each can deliver a new baby every nine months, for God’s glory, just like in the Old Testament.

Liberals are living in a cartoon of their own making.

Again, Hobby Lobby’s health plan pays for birth-control pills, vaginal rings, contraceptive patches, and other items to help female employees plan their pregnancies. The Left’s arguments to the contrary are — surprise, surprise — lies.

What Hobby Lobby will not cover are four contraceptive methods that its owners fear are abortifacients:

  1. Plan B (“The Morning After Pill”)
  2. Ella (a similar type of “emergency contraception”)
  3. Copper Intra-Uterine Device
  4. IUD with progestin

Rather than simply prevent sperm and ova from uniting, Hobby Lobby’s owners believe that these medications either kill human beings when they are fertilized eggs or prevent them from implanting themselves in utero, whereupon they die. These are called abortifacients.

Hobby Lobby does not prevent its female employees from using any of these four types of contraceptives. However, since they believe these innovations kill babies, they simply require that any employees who want to use them buy them with their own money.

Yes, somehow, Hobby Lobby is evil because it pays for 16 kinds of contraceptives, and expects its employees themselves to purchase four others that might kill human babies.

Obamacare: Worse Than We Thought?

Several months ago, CBO updated some of its findings, averring that the law’s price tag over its first true decade was more than $2 trillion, and concluding that the law has slowed economic growth, impeded hiring, and will drastically reduce the US workforce. – Guy Benson, Townhall.com

It’s obvious to me that Obamacare is as bad as most of us thought, and possibly even worse. The passage of this monstrosity is what happens when bloated egos get in the way of common sense.

Obama, Reid, Pelosi and their Dem puppets were told over and over again by Republicans what this law would do to our country. They would not listen. Obama has changed the law numerous times, without Constitutional authority, I might add, trying to force it to work. Reid will look us straight in the eye through the TV lens, and lie without blinking an eye. Pelosi, just keeps on making her dingbat comments. Some of the Dems, who voted for this monstrosity? They have stretched their puppet strings as far as possible–without breaking them–to distance themselves from Obamacare.

But, we are stuck with it. And it’s going to hurt, folks. It’s going to hurt in our pockets, our medical care, and our very lives. Make no mistake about it.

Here is an excerpt from Mr. Benson’s article:

We’ve been buried in the Bergdahl story all week, but this nugget is worth coming up for air to cover. By way of background, on the eve of Democrats’ party-line Obamacare vote in 2010, they used a cynically manufactured Congressional Budget Office (CBO) “score” to provide jittery members a fig leaf with which to justify an ‘aye’ tally. The report they hailed purported to show that Obamacare would cost less than a trillion dollars and that it would help reduce deficits. Republicans argued that it was preposterous to suggest that the creation of a brand new, massive entitlement program could possibly save the government money, but triumphant Democrats waved around the CBO document as the gospel truth.

Several months ago, CBO updated some of its findings, averring that the law’s price tag over its first true decade was more than $2 trillion, and concluding that the law has slowed economic growth, impeded hiring, and will drastically reduce the US workforce. The Left spun like crazy and gnashed their teeth, but the analysis was there in black and white, and this time it actually matched most Americans’ intuitions about the law. How will Obamacare impact America’s fiscal health moving forward? CBO has quietly announced that they no longer have confidence that they can answer that question with a reasonable degree of accuracy, so they’re essentially giving up on the task.

This is a neat trick, isn’t it? Step one: Use a carefully-gamed CBO score to help pass your giant law over the will of the public. Step two: Issue so many on-the-fly changes, revisions and waivers to the resulting monstrosity that the CBO throws in the towel on trying to track the real data, thus undercutting a key nonpartisan group’s efforts to evaluate the veracity of your previous claims. Quite the scheme. Meanwhile, Dan told you yesterday about the Associated Press scoop that roughly one-fourth of Obamacare exchange “enrollees” are facing discrepancies that could force them to pay more, or result in dropped coverage.

The Hill’swrite-up notes that, “the inconsistencies point to the possibility that many enrollees obtained coverage or subsidies without being eligible.” It also looks as though nearly half of the affected cases pertain to immigration and citizenship status.

There’s much more to the article and I encourage you to check it out at  http://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2014/06/05/cbo-by-the-way-we-can-no-longer-score-obamacares-fiscal-impact-n1847785?utm_source=thdailypm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl_pm

9 Obamacare Predictions That Have Come True

I read this post on The Foundry and thought it was valuable information to share. At this point in time, I have not checked out the validity of each point.

Four years ago, many health policy analysts, including those at The Heritage Foundation, predicted some of the effects this law would have on Americans. These are all coming true. Here are nine of our predictions that have come to pass—and it’s not over yet.

1. The individual mandate is an enforcement nightmare.

As a candidate, President Obama worried that an individual mandate to buy insurance would be unenforceable. He changed his mind once he became president. This year—the first year that the mandate penalties are to be imposed—he has already started backtracking on the enforcement of the provision he signed into law.

2. The law will create new disincentives to work.

Between Obamacare’s higher taxes and its subsidies that drop off if you raise your income, there’s not a lot of incentive here to work harder and better your situation.

3. The law, particularly the employer mandate, will impose new costs on businesses that undercut jobs and wages.

The employer mandate has been delayed until 2015, but the uncertainty Obamacare has created—and its 18 new tax hikes—have put a huge dent in job creation.

4. The law undermines competition and further consolidates health insurance markets.

Heritage Foundation analysis of federal and state exchanges shows that the law has, in general, reduced competition and consolidated health insurance markets. Between 2013 and 2014, the number of insurers offering coverage on the individual markets in all 50 states has declined nationwide by 29 percent.

5. The law guarantees major premium increases.

As Heritage predicted, the average annual premiums for single and family coverage in 2014 are rising in the state and federal health insurance exchanges all around the country. In 11 states, premiums for 27-year-olds have more than doubled since 2013; in 13 states, premiums for 50-year-olds have increased more than 50 percent.

>>> Get more details on all of these Obamacare effects

6. The law discourages insurance enrollment among the young.

The law’s insurance rules and new benefit mandates will make it cheaper for many younger Americans simply to remain uninsured and pay the penalty fine. It’s not surprising that young people have been staying away.

7. The law’s Medicare savings would not financially strengthen Medicare.

The law’s proponents originally promised that “savings” from Medicare changes would be spent simultaneously in two places: helping Medicare and expanding Obamacare. But money can be spent only once, so that didn’t work.

8. The law’s Medicare changes will result in reduced benefits and threaten seniors’ access to care.

The law’s impact is fairly straightforward: Fewer Medicare providers, reimbursed at rates progressively reduced over time, will create access problems for patients. Medicare cuts have been underway for several years now.

9. The law compels taxpayers to fund abortion and weakens protections of the right of conscience.

Obamacare mandates health plans that include coverage of abortion. It also spawned the Health and Human Services regulatory mandate that forces American employers to provide coverage for abortion-inducing drugs. It is safe to say that four years ago, millions of Americans did not expect that the national health care law would become a vehicle for an aggressive government infringement of personal liberty or coerce Americans to fund medical procedures and drugs in direct violation of their ethical and religious convictions.

Is it any wonder public opinion is against this debacle? It’s unfair, unworkable, and unaffordable. We need real health reform that puts patients back at the center and increases choice for Americans.

Obamacare’s Newest Target?

My husband and I have had some serious illnesses/surgeries. When you go through something like being told you have three brain aneurysms on the carotid arteries, you want to be able to get to the very best doctors you can. I’ve lived through that, and thank God, the three surgeries/procedures saved not only my life, but, more importantly, the quality of my life. Bob and I made the hour long drive to get to the best, Dr. Giannota, a Neurosurgeon at USC University Hospital.  (University of Southern California)

We would not have been able to have the security of knowing I was getting the very best care, if we’d had anything other than an Indemnity insurance policy. Unlike an HMO or PPO, with an Indemnity plan you can pick and choose your doctors. YOU can decide what the best plan of action is for you at that time. You are not tied down to a specific “Group.”

My husband has, now, been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. It’s not something that anyone wants to hear, but after going through about five neurologists, we have found the one that we feel is giving Bob the best care. She is at UCI (University of California at Irvine). Again, she would be out-of-network of any Group plan that would be available to us. And, again, it’s about a forty-five minute drive to get to her. That is our choice–and isn’t that what America used to stand  for…freedom to choose?

Over the years, I have learned that, if you can get to a  University doctor, and if your doctor is a “Fellow” at the University, you are getting the top of the line in new procedures. I, personally and for various reasons, have been a patient in UCI, USC University Hospital (not the Community Hospital), and UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles). Thank the dear Lord, I was able to get this care. I DO NOT TAKE IT LIGHTLY.

Is the Indemnity Plan going to be the next casualty on Obama’s hit list for good health care? Is the fact that Bob and I have been willing to pay the 20% rather than a co-pay a bad thing? Is the fact that we were willing to drive the extra mile or so to get the care we wanted a bad thing? According to Obama and the Democrat controlled Senate, I guess that’s just too much freedom and thought work for us. No, they need to take all that brain activity out of our hands. After all, they’re smarter than we are, right? Yeah, just let are brains turn to mush, because the government can handle everything for us!

Something else to think about. Obama and the Democrats like to shout about equality in our country. Has anyone considered that the people who live in high income areas will have access to better care than those who live in poorer areas? That’s what happens when you force people to be in “Groups.”

I don’t know that this will happen, and I’m sure Obama and his minions don’t know, either, but below is the article I found on Patriot Post.

Another ObamaCare insurance policy casualty may be what’s known as fixed benefit or indemnity insurance. People who hold these policies receive a fixed sum of money when they use health care services, and because they’re not tied to a network, these policyholders can visit any doctor they like. And they’re less expensive than the typical insurance policy. Yet new regulations sprouting from ObamaCare would make these plans illegal because they don’t offer the required benefits of the law. That means – you guessed it – another wave of cancellations of plans that people like. There are hundreds of thousands of people on these policies, and enrollment in them has increased thanks to ObamaCare’s spiking premium costs. The poor will be hardest hit.

Damages Done to our Country

pic_giant_102913_SM_The-President-Who-Has-Done-the-Most-DamageTo those of us who understand the great damage Obama has done, and continues to do to our great country, the following article by Dennis Prager comes as no surprise. My hope is that moderate Democrats can see that the man who promised hope and change has led them down a rabbit hole of betrayal and lies.

Obama gives very sincere-sounding speeches. No one can deny that he’s very good at that. Unfortunately for Americans, his far left agenda trumps telling the truth. It trumps any concerns about the citizens who are hurt by his ideology. His utopian ideas will only accomplish bringing the middle class down to the level of the poor. The wealthy will still have wealth and power. Look at the politicians in D.C.  How many of them are among the wealthy class? Do you really think they are going to give up their life style in order to be equal with the rest of us? Not likely.

Let’s read Dennis Prager’s article.

I have been broadcasting for 31 years and writing for longer than that. I do not recall ever saying on radio or in print that a president is doing lasting damage to our country. I did not like the presidencies of Jimmy Carter (the last Democrat I voted for) or Bill Clinton. Nor did I care for the “compassionate conservatism” of George W. Bush. In modern political parlance “compassionate” is a euphemism for ever-expanding government.

But I have never written or broadcast that our country was being seriously damaged by a president. So it is with great sadness that I write that President Barack Obama has done and continues to do major damage to America. The only question is whether this can ever be undone.

This is equally true domestically and internationally.

Domestically, his policies have had a grave impact on the American economy.

He has overseen the weakest recovery from a recession in modern American history. He has mired the country in unprecedented levels of debt: about $6.5 trillion — that is 6,500 billion — in five years (this after calling his predecessor “unpatriotic” for adding nearly $5 trillion in eight years).

He has fashioned a country in which more Americans now receive government aid — means-tested, let alone non-means-tested — than work full-time.

He has no method of paying for this debt other than printing more money — thereby surreptitiously taxing everyone through inflation, including the poor he claims to be helping, and cheapening the dollar to the point that some countries are talking about another reserve currency — and saddling the next generations with enormous debts.

With his 2,500-page Affordable Care Act he has made it impossible for hundreds of thousands, soon millions, of Americans to keep their individual or employer-sponsored group health insurance; he has stymied American medical innovation with an utterly destructive tax on medical devices; and he has caused hundreds of thousands of workers to lose full-time jobs because of the health-care costs imposed by Obamacare on employers.

His Internal Revenue Service used its unparalleled power to stymie political dissent. No one has been held accountable.

His ambassador to Libya and three other Americans were murdered by terrorists in Benghazi, Libya. No one has been blamed. The only blame the Obama administration has leveled was on a videomaker in California who had nothing to do with the assault.

In this president’s White House the buck stops nowhere.

Among presidents in modern American history, he has also been a uniquely divisive force. It began with his forcing Obamacare through Congress — the only major legislation in American history to be passed with no votes from the opposition party.

Though he has had a unique opportunity to do so, he has not only not helped heal racial tensions, he has exacerbated them. His intrusions into the Trayvon Martin affair (“If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon”) and into the confrontation between a white police officer and a black Harvard professor (the police “acted stupidly”) were unwarranted, irresponsible, demagogic, and, most of all, divisive.

He should have been reassuring black Americans that America is in fact the least racist country in the world — something he should know as well as anybody, having been raised only by whites and being the first black elected the leader of a white-majority nation. Instead, he echoed the inflammatory speech of professional race-baiters such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

He has also divided the country by economic class, using classic Marxist language against “the rich” and “corporate profits.”

Regarding America in the world, he has been, if possible, even more damaging. The United States is at its weakest, has fewer allies, and has less military and diplomatic influence than at any time since before World War II.

One wonders if there is a remaining ally nation that trusts him. And worse, no American enemy fears him. If you are a free movement (the democratic Iranian and Syrian oppositions) or a free country (Israel), you have little or no reason to believe that you have a steadfast ally in the United States.

Even non-democratic allies no longer trust America. Barack Obama has alienated our most important and longest standing Arab allies, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Both the anti–Muslim Brotherhood and the anti-Iran Arab states have lost respect for him.

And his complete withdrawal of American troops from Iraq has left that country with weekly bloodbaths.

Virtually nothing Barack Obama has done has left America or the world better since he became president. Nearly everything he has touched has been made worse.

He did, however, promise before the 2008 election that “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” That is the one promise he has kept.

We Are Not Subjects

I received the following in my email this morning and, after researching it for verification, I decided to share it here on “Are They Kidding?”  I hope you find it as riveting as I did.

We Are Not SUBJECTS (and Other Observations about Obamacare)

The unveiling of the dictatorial debacle that is Obamacare absolutely flabbergasts me. It is stunning on so many levels, but the most shocking aspect of it for me is watching millions of free Americans stand idly by while this man, his minions in Congress and his cheerleaders in the press systematically dismantle our Constitution, steal our money, and crush our freedoms.

The President, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid (with no small help from Justice John Roberts) take away our health care, and we allow it. They take away our insurance, and we allow it. They take away our doctors, and we allow it. They charge us thousands of dollars more a year, and we allow it. They make legal products illegal, and we allow it. They cripple our businesses, and we allow it. They announce by fiat that we must ignore our most deeply held beliefs – and we allow it.

Where is your spine, America?

Yes, I know people are complaining. I read the news on the internet. I read blogs. I have a Twitter feed. So what? People in the Soviet Union complained. People in Cuba complain. People in China complain (quietly). Complaining isn’t the same thing as doing anything about it. In fact, much of the complaining that we hear sounds like resignation: Wow. This sucks. Oh well, this is the way things are. Too bad.

Perhaps you need reminding of a few important facts. Here goes:

1. The President is not a king
Barack Obama does not behave like a President, an elected official, someone who realizes that he works for us. He behaves like a king, a dictator – someone who believes that his own pronouncements have the force of law, and who thinks he can dispense with the law’s enforcement when he deigns to do so. And those of us who object? How dare we? Racists!

And while he moves steadily “forward” with his plans to “fundamentally transform” the greatest country in human history, he distracts people with cheap, meaningless trivialities, like “free birth control pills”! (In fact, let’s face it: this administration’s odd obsession with sex in general – Birth control! Abortion! Sterilization! Gay guys who play basketball! — is just plain weird. Since when did the leader of the free world care so much about how people have sex, who they have it with, and what meds they use when they have it? Does he have nothing more important to concern himself with?)

2. It isn’t just a failed software program; it is a failed philosophy
People are marveling that Healthcare.gov was such a spectacular failure. Well, if one is only interested in it as a product launch, I’ve explained some of the reasons for that here. But the larger point is that it isn’t a software failure, or even a product failure; it is a philosophy failure.

I have said this before: Obama is not a centrist; he is a central planner. And this – all of it: the disastrous computer program, the hundreds of millions of dollars wasted, the lies, the manipulation of public opinion, the theft of the public’s money and property, and freedom (read insurance, and premiums, and doctors) — IS what central planning looks like.

The central premise of central planning is that a handful of wunderkinds with your best interests at heart (yeah, right) know better than you what’s good for you. The failure of such a premise and the misery it causes have been clear from the dawn of humanity. Kings and congressmen, dictators and Dear Leaders, potentates, princes and presidents can all fall prey to the same imperial impulses: “we know what is good for ‘the people.’

And they are always wrong.

There is a reason that the only times communism has really been tried have been after wars, revolutions, or coups d’état. You have to have complete chaos for people to be willing to accept the garbage that centralized planning produces. Take the Soviet Union, for example. After two wars, famine, and the collapse of the Romanov dynasty, why wouldn’t people wait in line for hours to buy size 10 shoes? Or settle for the gray matter that passed for meat in the grocery stores?

But communism’s watered-down cousin, socialism, isn’t much better. Ask the Venezuelans who cannot get toilet paper. Toilet paper. ¡Viva la Revolución!

Contrary to what so many who believe in a “living Constitution” say, the Founding Fathers absolutely understood this. That is why the Constitution was set up to limit government power. (Memo to the President: the drafters of the Constitution deliberately didn’t say “what government had to do on your behalf.”) They understood that that was the path to folly, fear, and famine.)

3. Obama is deceitful
Just as the collapse of the computer program should not surprise anyone, neither should we be shocked that the President lied about his healthcare plan. Have any of you been paying attention over the past few years? Obama has made no secret of his motivations or his methods. The philosophies which inspire him espouse deceit and other vicious tactics. (Don’t take my word for it: read Saul Alinsky.) Obama infamously told reporter Richard Wolffe, “You know, I actually believe my own bullshit.” He has refused to be forthcoming about his past (where are his academic records?). His own pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, told author Ed Klein, that Obama said to him, “You know what your problem is? You have to tell the truth.”

Did Obama lie when he said dozens of times, “If you like you plan, you can keep it”? Of course he did. That’s what he does.

4. The media is responsible
And had the media been doing their jobs, we would have known a lot of this much, much earlier.

The press is charged with the sacred responsibility of protecting the people from the excesses of government. Our press has been complicit, incompetent, or corrupt. Had they vetted this man in 2008, as they would have a Republican candidate, we would have known far more about him than we do, even now. Had they pressed for more details about Obamacare, Congress’ feet would have been held to the fire. Had they done their jobs about Eric Holder, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, the IRS scandal, NSA spying – or any of the other myriad betrayals of the public trust that this administration has committed, Obama would likely have lost his 2012 reelection campaign. (A fact which even the Washington Post has tacitly acknowledged. Well done, fellas! Happy now?)

Instead, they turned a blind eye, even when they knew he was lying, abusing power, disregarding the limits of the Constitution. It was only when he began to spy on them, and when the lies were so blatant that the lowest of low-information voters could figure it out that they realized they had to report on it. (Even in the face of blatant, deliberate and repeated lies, the New York Times has the audacity to tell us that the President “misspoke.”) They have betrayed us, abandoned us, and deceived us.

5. Ted Cruz was right. So was Sarah Palin.
The computer program is a disaster. The insurance exchanges are a disaster. What’s left? The healthcare system itself. And this, of necessity, will be a disaster, too.

Millions of people have lost their individual insurance plans. In 2015, millions more will lose their employer-provided coverage (a fact which the Obama administration also knew, and admitted elsewhere).

The exorbitant additional costs that Obamacare has foisted on unsuspecting Americans are all part of a plan of wealth confiscation and redistribution. That is bad enough. But it will not end there.

When the numbers of people into the system and the corresponding demand for care vastly exceed the cost projections (and they will, make no mistake), then the rationing will start. Not only choice at that point, but quality and care itself will go down the tubes. And then will come the decisions made by the Independent Payment Advisory Board about what care will be covered (read “paid for”) and what will not.

That’s just a death panel, put politely. In fact, progressives are already greasing the wheels for acceptance of that miserable reality as well. They’re spreading the lie that it will be about the ability of the dying to refuse unwanted or unhelpful care. Don’t fall for that one, either. It will be about the deaths that inevitably result from decisions made by people other than the patients, their families, and their physicians. (Perhaps it’s helpful to think of their assurances this way: “If you like your end-of-life care, you can keep your end-of-life-care.”)

6. We are not SUBJECTS (or, Nice Try, the Tea Party Isn’t Going Away) We have tolerated these incursions into our lives and livelihoods too long already. There is no end to the insatiable demand “progressives” have to remake us in their image. Today it is our insurance, our businesses, our doctors, our health care. Tomorrow some new crusade will be announced that enables them to take over other aspects of our formerly free lives.

I will say it again: WE ARE NOT SUBJECTS. Not only is the Tea Party right on the fiscal issues, but it appears that they are more relevant than ever. We fought a war once to prove we did not want to be the subjects of a king, and the Boston Tea Party was just a taste of the larger conflict to come. If some people missed that lesson in history class, we can give them a refresher.

The 2014 elections are a good place to start. Call your representative, your senator, your candidate and tell them: “We are not subjects. You work for us. And if the word “REPEAL” isn’t front and center in your campaign, we won’t vote for you. Period.”

Caught on Tape

This says it all, doesn’t it? I subscribe to “Wake Up America” (http://wwwwakeupamericans-spree.blogspot.com/2013/11/caught-on-tape-obamacare-navigators.html#.UoKXuKUw1z8) and this came in their daily offering.  Fox news has made the President’s lies about keeping the healthcare of our choice an ongoing topic, but to see that those “vetted” for the job as “navigators” are selling more lies to the public and encouraging them to be dishonest speaks volumes to me.  I’m not a racist, but it was hard NOT to notice that most of those representing OBAMACARE are black.  Why is that?  I’m sure there are white people doing the job; are they being just as dishonest or is this an attempt to portray Black Americans as having the same lack of integrity as our POUS?

Aside from this video, I found particular interest in hearing one Fox contributor mention that those Democrats who have jumped ship on Obamacare have done so only to save their own positions come election time.  One congresswoman has initiated a bill that proposes people should be able to keep their original healthcare, but that only works if your employer decides to add them to the list offered.  For those like her who are struggling to appease their constituents, this is definitely about position over politics.

I am one of  many Americans who received notice that my health plan would no longer be offered in 2014 and I’ve had to find another provider.  It wasn’t too hard for me since I’m also on Medicare, but for my younger husband, since I am an out-of-state retiree, I was offered only one option which means he can no longer see our doctor because he has stopped accepting most insurances.  If you are familiar with the term FUBAR, then I’m sure you’ll join me in agreeing this mess fits the description.  My biggest question is why hasn’t Obama been impeached?
