When you consider the scope of the lies and character assassination we saw during the 2012 Presidential campaign – it is hard to believe that Politifact decided to claim the Mitt Romney commercial about Jeep moving jobs to Japan – as the “lie of the year”.
Seriously – we are still waiting for the truth about Benghazi and after the extensive lies about the “video” – to name only 2 lies.
And – if you evaluate the Jeep commercial, it wasn’t worded right, but there was truth within the ad – and it was never reported by the media.
There were many lies told throughout 2012 and the Jeep ad was incorrect, but it was not the “lie of the year”.

These were the 10 possibilities for the Lie of the Year – which is your favorite? OR do you have something else that should be included?
Again – I see a media report and have to say “Are They Kidding?”
